How it all started... like many during the pandemic shutdown, I turned to jigsaw puzzles and began baking. Soon enough, baking desserts and sourdough bread became a true passion. It brings me so much joy. The precision behind it all... weighing ingredients, frosting cakes, and delicately piping buttercream. Most of all, it warms my heart to see the smiles and happiness that come from my cakes.

Why "Black Sesame"? It is one of my favorite flavors. I grew up enjoying both sweet and savory black sesame dishes, and I've always loved its deep, aromatic, nutty taste - it's delicious without being overpowering. And, as those closest to me know, black is my favorite color. So "Black Sesame Bakery" just felt like the perfect fit.
